Upon inspection 8/19/18, two issues were noted with the Kewaunee County 2012 delivered data. Issue 1: Creation of a digital surface model with all first returns of non-ground (class 1) and ground (class 2) (not used noise class 7) , reveals some high noise in the non-ground class 1. To make a useful DSM for canopy studies, this high noise (elevation >2000 ft?) should be reclassified. Issue 2: The breakline file called Wide Rivers has some anomalous zshape elevations in the Silver Creek tributary. The DEM created with these and other breakline files shows the create entering the main river at a higher elevation. A small but annoying error. Fixing it will require changing the zshape elevations in the shape file. There may be other issues with the delivered data, as yet unreported, so users need to exercise caution as always, and inspect their results for consistency and/or errors.
