Digital Surface Models (DSMs) measure the height values of the first return surface on the ground including terrain features, buildings, vegetation and power lines etc, providing a topographic model of the features on the earth's surface.
The 2011 DSM dataset was developed as a derivative product for use in general surface modeling and depiction.
