  This directory contains tarfiles of the International MODIS
  and AIRS Processing Package (IMAPP).  The software is 
  supported on the following platforms: 

   (1) SGI, IRIX64 6.5

   (2) SUN, SunOS 5.7, sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-5_10

   (3) Intel, Solaris_x86, compiled with gcc.

   (4) IBM, AIX 4.3

   (5) HP,  HP-UX, B.10.20

   (6) LINUX, 2.2.12-20

  level1a.tar:      Level0 to level1a source code with build and
                    run instructions.

  geolocation.tar:  Geolocation source code with build and run
                    instructions.

                      Note: level1a must be built prior to geolocation and
                            geolocation.tar should be extracted in
                            the same directory as level1a.

  calibration.tar:  Calibration (level1b) source code with build and
                    run instructions.

                      Note: levela must be built prior to calibration and
                            calibration.tar should be extracted in
                            the same directory as level1a.

  util.tar:         Utilities directory.  Currently contains only L0_scan,
                    but there may be more in the future.

                      Note: should be built last.

  HDF4_1r3_tar.Z:   NCSA's HDF4 source tarfile, taken directly,
                    and without modification, from their ftp site.

                      Note: it may be possible to obtain pre-compiled
                            binaries.  See the README file in the
                            level1a directory.

  test.lvl0:        Test level0 file used to generate the the following
                    files.
