Note: ancillary and flatfile must be built prior to cloudmask and all three should be built off of the same core directory, for example /MODIS/ancillary, /MODIS/flatfile, /MODIS/destripe_band26, /MODIS/cloudmask. There is a modis_cloudmask.csh script in the cloudmask/cmd directory which will run the processes together on the test data sets included in the tar files. ** The ancillary software can be found as part of the v1.1 release ** CLOUDTOP.tar: Cloud top properties and cloud phase (MOD06CT) source code with build and run instructions. Note: cloudmask, ancillary and flatfile must be built prior to cloudtop and all three should be built off of the same core directory, for example /MODIS/cloudtop, /MODIS/ancillary, /MODIS/flatfile, /MODIS/destripe_band26, /MODIS/cloudmask. There is a modis_cloudtop.csh script in the cloudtop/src directory which will run the processes together on the test data sets included in the tar files. DESTRIPE_BAND26.tar: Source code which corrects for out-of-band26 (1.38 micron) radiance leaking in from band 5 (1.2 micron) and causing striping. This software is not required to run the cloud mask software, but helps in the correct dectection of thin cirrus in the cloud mask algorithm. Build and run instructions are included. FLATFILE.tar: Flatfile source code with build and run instructions. This code extracts radiances and reflectances from input L1B DAAC production or L1B IMAPP hdf files. A satellite platform name is now a required input. 4.1r3_solarisx86.tar: g77 compiled HDF toolkit for use on the Solaris x86 machines.
